Dear Everyone,
To every person that is reading this letter, I'm about to share you some but not all important events that are in my memory that make my feel happy but in some sadness to. Also for a better understanding, I will show you one song for each event that make you get it better. I will explain in this letter why I choose each song and each event.
I don't know if when you remember something, for some reason you remember a song or when you hear a song you remember something. Have that happen to you? In this case, I have remember songs by memories. If you ask, the events are in disorder, at the end I'll tell you in which order they happen.
But first, I have to introduce myself. My name is Luisa Fernanda and I'm fifteen years old. I'm in my Sophomore year, trying to give my best so that I have excellent greats for college. One of my passions are arts! Music, acting, writing, and all artistic things, I simply love it. I can stay a whole month practicing drums, piano, singing, writing, or painting. Everyday I try to get better in arts and in school. Also, I'm in the school soccer team, I'm the goalkeeper, the best goalkeeper in the entire world, better than Casillas and Ospina. I'm joking, but in every training I try to improve.
Now you know who am I. Now it's time you know three events of my life that like a movie you will read but also listen to my stories.
The first event I want to share is... Christmas in Cali! I love Christmas, because I am with my family and friends that I love, but also because of presents and food. One of the places I really like to travel is Cali. In Cali live one part of my mother's family and I can say that I also have part of my childhood and grow up in there, that why I love it so much.
The song I decide for this special event is Family by TobyMac. This song talks about, like the title say it about the family. It make me remember before all technology sick the world, families were more united, were together and have happy moments. Nowadays, family happy moments are hard to find, now they prefer technology than their families. This song make me get inside my brain remembering how were those days, specially in Christmas when no one sleep because were having a great time with the ones they love. I can say that I still believe that those moments can repeat one day.
The second memory that is very important to me is when I start leaning arts. When I say 'arts', it means music, art, drama, writing, and dancing. Also, that why I like to create this album because it's about music and I love music, make me remember better. The song I choose for this important event is "Hold You Up" by Shane Harper. When you are practicing music or drama or choreographies, when you are drawing or writing is very common that you get frustrated and stress because you don't do it the right way, so, don't let 'demons' to steal the ideas or inspirations from you. Still trying, because you learn trying, working on it and you will get better.
The last event that I want to share with you it's the most important of the three, when I got to know God. These event impact me in many ways, starting that when this happen I was in a hard time and I can say that God make me strong so that I can continue. It's hard to thing only in one song for this event, so, I choose two songs. The first song I choose is called "What I Know" by Tricia and the other song is called "God's Not Dead" by Newsboys. Both songs talk about difficulties and that when this happen to you is something hard to forget.
In conclusion, these are three of the events have change my life, everyday I'm happy to have this events in my memory. Also, these three awesome songs hold you up, make you strong and give you hope. Songs that I'll never forget, they will be in my memory flying waiting to being remember again. Im happy and thankful to had the opportunity to live so wonderful moments. In some way sorrowful because I can grow up in the second and third moments, but the first one is sad to live it again. I hope you can connect in a certain way and that this was a written movie that you enjoy.
Full of gaiety,
Luisa
